Senior Systems Administrator – M365

About the role

Albourne is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to design, administer, and support its Windows, hybrid, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of critical services across the company’s on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper‑V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager.
• Support hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring availability, security and performance of business‑critical services.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex incidents related to Windows systems and Microsoft 365 services.
• Design, administer and support Microsoft cloud services such as Entra, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Power Platform, Copilot and Microsoft Defender.
• Implement security and compliance controls, including DLP, MFA, Conditional Access, audit logging and reporting.
• Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, storage solutions and monitor system usage and health.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience in large‑scale enterprise IT operations.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively in a team.
