Senior SRE

About the role

Tango, a leading live‑streaming platform with over 450 million registered users, is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own and evolve its multi‑cloud infrastructure. You will work with a global team to ensure the platform remains highly available, scalable, and performant for millions of creators and viewers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of multi‑cloud (primarily GCP) infrastructure and core Kubernetes workloads.
• Drive architectural improvements to increase availability, scalability, and performance across all services.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows to reduce operational toil.
• Own technical initiatives from concept through delivery, including research, PoCs, and tooling evaluation.
• Participate in a paid L2 on‑call rotation and conduct root‑cause analyses to prevent recurring incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, standards, and best‑practice guides.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong background in GCP (or another major cloud provider) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform.
• Proven expertise with Prometheus‑based monitoring and deep‑dive troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of GitLab for repository management, runner configuration, and complex pipeline creation.
• Solid Linux fundamentals and proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
• Functional English communication skills for collaboration across a global team.
