Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

Mayflower is a technology company building large‑scale entertainment products for a global audience. We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own product‑related SEO tasks from idea through release, turning search opportunities into actionable initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify technical and on‑page SEO issues (crawling, indexing, site structure, redirects, canonicals, internal linking, templates, structured data) and initiate product‑related tasks.
• Prepare implementation‑ready tasks with problem definition, solution, affected URLs, risks and acceptance criteria; validate with Team Lead and SEO team.
• Consult product and development on SEO implications of planned features, template changes and site architecture.
• Participate in agile estimations and grooming to ensure work is well sized and specified.
• Analyze search intent, SERP structure and competitor behavior to inform product decisions.
• Optimize existing page types and templates for rankings, traffic, engagement and conversions.
• Support content planning with SEO briefs, keyword maps and optimization guidelines.
• Plan information architecture and landing‑page structure for new product or content surfaces.
• Specify and implement structured data where appropriate.
• Test implementations after release against acceptance criteria and monitor performance in Google Search Console, Google Analytics and internal tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on SEO experience covering on‑page, content and technical work.
• Experience with high‑traffic international and multilingual websites.
• Proven ability to translate SEO findings into actionable tickets for engineering or product teams.
• Comfort participating in agile delivery processes (grooming, estimation, post‑release checks).
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, SERP analysis and competitor research.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO aspects such as crawling, indexing, redirects, canonicals, internal linking and site architecture.
• Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
• Clear written communication for tickets, briefs and performance notes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams and raise issues early.
