Senior Quantitative Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Engineer to join our Quantitative Research team in Limassol. You will design, build and maintain production‑grade data pipelines, analytical tools and quantitative models that support our trading operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pipelines, analytical tooling and models with production‑quality code, tests and documentation.
• Transform research prototypes into reviewed, tested and scheduled production code.
• Apply engineering standards including Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD and reproducibility.
• Implement verification checks such as reconciliations, invariants and known‑answer tests to ensure trustworthy outputs.
• Detect data‑quality issues early, document them and coordinate remediation with relevant teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software or data engineering experience, preferably with quantitative work.
• Strong Python development skills, including packaging, testing, typing and performance optimisation.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, code review processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing data‑intensive systems and advanced SQL on large analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse).
• Solid understanding of applied statistics and ability to recognise noisy results.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
