Senior PHP Developer – Billing Team (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our Billing team in Limassol. You will work on new modules for our web applications, integrate external services and help keep our fintech platform stable and high‑performing.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new features and modules in web applications.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs.
• Deploy code to production and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Estimate development tasks and contribute to sprint planning.
• Design and improve product infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver business‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of backend or full‑stack development experience, with at least 5 years of hands‑on PHP.
• Strong fintech background preferred.
• Native or C1 level Russian and at least B1 English proficiency.
• Experience with monolith architectures and service‑oriented migration.
• Ability to understand product and domain context, not just execute tasks.

Required skills

• PHP (Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework or Yii).
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• CI/CD practices and pipelines.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Git command‑line usage.
• Linux command‑line proficiency and web‑stack setup.
• Automated testing.
• Familiarity with WebSockets (a plus).
