Senior .NET Engineer

About the role

Join IC Markets as a Senior .NET Engineer, working on high‑performance, real‑time trading applications. You will design and build scalable .NET Core microservices that power the company’s FinTech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise domain‑driven microservices using Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice Architecture and CQRS.
• Implement multithreaded, asynchronous and event‑driven solutions with Kafka, AWS SQS or RabbitMQ.
• Ensure low‑latency, high‑throughput performance, thread safety and fault tolerance.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with product owners and deliver quality software using TDD.
• Maintain observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana and Kibana, and create monitoring dashboards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with .NET Core and C#.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• .NET Core, C#, multithreading and asynchronous programming.
• Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice Architecture, CQRS.
• Event‑driven systems using Kafka, AWS SQS or RabbitMQ.
• Observability tools: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
• Containerisation with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Git version control and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
