Senior MLOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled MLOps / Platform Engineer to join MUFG Investor Services’ AI initiative. The role focuses on deploying and managing AI agents across our infrastructure, working closely with research, data science, and engineering teams to build a secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AI agents on Agent Core MCP servers and gateways.
• Implement observability with OpenTelemetry, integrating logs and traces into Datadog.
• Ensure security, high availability, and cost optimization for all AI platform components.
• Provide infrastructure and deployment support to AI researchers and engineering teams.
• Perform load testing, token cost measurement, and resource utilization optimization.
• Facilitate external vulnerability assessments and maintain compliance with security best practices.
• Develop automation scripts using AWS Boto3 SDK and manage IaC with Terraform.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps practice.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Proven ability to work with AI/ML platforms and production AI agents.
