Senior Frontend Engineer – Cloud SaaS Platform

About the role

Azul is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve the web experience of the Azul Intelligence Cloud SaaS platform. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high‑quality, data‑heavy reporting views and user‑friendly interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React and TypeScript features with a focus on readability and performance.
• Own end‑to‑end feature delivery across the UI, Node.js/Fastify BFF, and async job pipelines.
• Design and implement async flows using BullMQ, ensuring retry‑safe, idempotent processing.
• Integrate UI with Java backend services, shaping and consuming APIs.
• Optimize data‑heavy reporting views through virtualization, pagination, and backend aggregation.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on frontend development with strong React and TypeScript expertise.
• Proven experience delivering production‑grade features with clear API contracts and type safety.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
