Senior Frontend Engineer – Azul Intelligence Cloud

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and evolve the web experience of Azul Intelligence Cloud, a SaaS platform that aggregates JVM runtime data, analyses code usage and detects vulnerabilities. The role is fully remote‑friendly and involves close collaboration with engineers, product managers, designers and QA across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality features in React and TypeScript with a focus on maintainability.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of UI components, the Node.js/Fastify BFF layer and async jobs that feed them.
• Integrate the frontend with Java‑based backend services, shaping and consuming APIs.
• Build data‑heavy reporting views using virtualization, pagination and backend aggregation.
• Design and maintain reliable async workflows with BullMQ, ensuring idempotent and retry‑safe jobs.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience, primarily with React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to deliver features end‑to-end in a production SaaS product.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, scalability and async processing.
• Experience working across the frontend/backend boundary and defining API contracts.
