Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

FP Markets is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Cyprus office. The role is hybrid, working within the IT department to design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Design, provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Automate network and server configuration with Ansible.
• Optimize cloud resources, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement security best practices and compliance automation.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management.
• Deep networking knowledge (L2/L3, VLANs, switching, routing, overlay networks, SDN).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash.

Required skills

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) – nice to have.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana – nice to have.
