Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Fundraise Up is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve a core platform area such as observability or CI/CD. You will join a distributed, Russian‑speaking team that powers a global fundraising platform used by leading NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of either the observability stack (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Graylog/VictoriaLogs, fluent‑bit, exporters, alerting) or the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins).
• Design, implement, and roll out new features, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and act as the senior escalation point for complex issues.
• Mentor and guide other engineers on best practices and tooling.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.

Required profile

• 5 + years of professional experience in DevOps, site reliability, or related engineering roles.
• Proven ability to own a critical platform area from concept through production.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for deep technical curiosity.
• Excellent communication skills in a distributed, multilingual environment.
