Senior Client Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join Asterisk Corporate Services in Nicosia. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while managing a portfolio of corporate clients. You will report directly to the Managing Director and take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts using Caseware.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve accounting issues and meet deadlines.
• Handle multiple client assignments independently and support complex matters alongside the Managing Director.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and growth of the Accounting Department.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• 4‑5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Qualified or partially qualified ACCA, ACA or CPA (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation, VAT and payroll.
• Ability to produce IFRS‑based accounting records and communicate confidently with clients.
