Senior Backend Developer

About the role

TradingView is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help scale its financial analysis platform used by millions worldwide. You will work on high‑performance services that store, enrich, and serve trading data, collaborating with a global engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Go and Java.
• Build and operate data pipelines for validation, enrichment, and near‑real‑time processing.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with other engineering squads to integrate services and ensure system reliability.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long‑term platform design.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code; review peer contributions.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go.
• Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of data pipelines, batch and near‑real‑time processing.
• Experience designing fault‑tolerant, high‑load backend systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
