Senior Android Mobile App Engineer

About the role

Freedom Finance Technologies is a Cyprus‑based fintech company that develops trading and banking IT products for a global audience. We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to strengthen our mobile development team and help us build our brokerage and banking applications faster and more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and write clean, reusable code.
• Implement automated tests, monitor performance, and ensure application stability and security.
• Participate in code reviews and foster a collaborative development environment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial experience in native Android development.
• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture, SOLID principles, and Material Design guidelines.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, optimized UI and publish apps on Google Play.
• Independent, responsible, and willing to complete a test assignment.

Required skills

• Kotlin (including Coroutines and Serialization)
• Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.)
• MVVM architectural pattern
• Material Design and core UX principles
• Experience with Jetpack Compose (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Flutter, MPP, or React Native (nice to have)
• Development of custom libraries/SDKs
• Version control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket
