Senior Accountant – Russian Speaking

About the role

Our client is a well‑established private family office based in Limassol, Cyprus. They are seeking a Senior Accountant who is fluent in Russian and English to take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting activities and support the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and record financial transactions using 1C and related accounting systems.
• Prepare and finalise accounting files and supporting documentation.
• Conduct monthly debtor and creditor reconciliations.
• Execute payments and ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Prepare and maintain daily cash‑flow reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, providing required documentation during audits.
• Prepare VAT returns and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate and organised accounting records and monitor activities for timely completion.
• Assist with additional accounting and finance‑related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Strong practical bookkeeping experience and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in Russian and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
