QA Engineer – Financial Data & Payments

About the role

As a QA Engineer – FinDB you will ensure the quality, stability and reliability of payabl.’s financial data and payment‑related systems. Working remotely (or onsite in Cyprus) you will contribute to test automation, API and backend testing, and functional testing in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Create and execute test cases for new feature implementations.
• Perform API and backend testing to verify system behaviour and data integrity.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression and system testing across FinDB systems.
• Analyse logs and system flows to identify issues and root causes.
• Document and track defects with clear reproducible steps.
• Participate in refinement sessions and provide QA input early in the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright, TypeScript and Python.
• Proven ability to design clear, maintainable test cases and debug complex systems.
• Good communication skills and ownership mindset in fast‑paced environments.
