Purchasing Associate – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

Moving Doors is seeking a strategic Purchasing Associate to manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and logistics across its portfolio of fully furnished apartments. The role supports the company’s growth by ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and efficient supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure quality products at competitive prices.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, maintaining accurate records in internal databases.
• Manage supplier performance, monitor order status, and coordinate deliveries.
• Verify invoices, prepare payment requests, and align payment schedules with Finance.
• Oversee the full order lifecycle from placement to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Plan and coordinate shipments, handle customs clearance, and manage documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and reorder triggers.
• Address after‑sales issues, warranty claims, and product returns.
• Support cost analysis for transportation, warehousing, and supplier spend to identify savings.
• Prepare weekly procurement, logistics, and inventory performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in vendor management and supply‑chain operations, preferably with international exposure.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
