PSP Specialist

About the role

Obtained.com is seeking a PSP Specialist to expand and strengthen its network of Payment Service Providers, acquiring banks and other financial partners. The role involves identifying new partners, supporting merchant onboarding and coordinating technical integrations to ensure seamless payment processing for merchants worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with PSPs, acquiring banks and other financial institutions.
• Research, identify and onboard new payment partners across multiple regions and industries.
• Manage the end‑to‑end PSP onboarding process, including commercial discussions, documentation and operational setup.
• Coordinate merchant submissions and onboarding with payment providers.
• Work with Compliance and Risk teams to facilitate merchant approvals.
• Collaborate with Technical teams during API integrations, testing and go‑live activities.
• Monitor partner performance, approval rates, processing capabilities, settlement timelines and service quality.
• Support commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and partnership agreements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, partner records and operational procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, payment technologies and emerging payment methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking or merchant acquiring.
• Solid understanding of PSPs, payment gateways, merchant acquiring and online payment processing.
• Proven experience managing business relationships with financial institutions or payment providers.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
