Product Engineer – Payments Platform (Golang)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Engineer specialized in Go to own and evolve our payments integration platform. You will work within an autonomous, self‑managing team responsible for deposits, withdrawals, transfers and related cash operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate PSP integrations for cards and banks, handling APIs and webhooks.
• Create a provider‑agnostic payments state model covering async confirmations, callbacks, deduplication, retries and routing.
• Automate dispute, chargeback, refund and reconciliation processes, as well as handling missing or late provider events.
• Maintain stability of the payments stack through observability, safe release mechanisms (feature flags, canaries, rollbacks) and incident response.
• Implement payment security and regulatory controls such as SCA/3DS, PCI‑DSS boundaries, secrets/key management and audit trails.
• Integrate anti‑fraud and AML tools, including transaction monitoring, risk scoring, fingerprinting and rule‑based decision engines.
