Product Designer (Discovery)

About the role

Mayflower is seeking a Product Designer to lead discovery‑phase work for its large‑scale entertainment platforms. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to turn ambiguous problems into clear, user‑focused solutions that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers throughout product discovery, from problem identification to solution validation.
• Translate user feedback, business goals, product requirements, and technical constraints into thoughtful design improvements.
• Own the end‑to‑end design process, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity UI, and post‑launch iteration.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and measure feature success.
• Collaborate closely with engineers during implementation, providing clear design guidance.
• Maintain consistency across the product suite by contributing to the design system.
• Conduct user research, market analysis, and usability testing to understand customer needs.
• Iterate on shipped experiences based on insights and participate in design critiques.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on web‑based products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design work, especially for web applications.
• Ability to connect user needs with business goals and work in cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑starter who can drive design work from ambiguous concepts to validated solutions.
