Process Technician 2

About the role

Join Lam Research’s Global Products Group, where you’ll support the design and engineering of cutting‑edge etch and deposition solutions for the semiconductor industry. As a Process Technician 2 you will assist process engineers in developing and optimizing wafer fabrication processes, conducting experiments, and analyzing results to improve yield.

Key responsibilities

• Support process engineers in preparing and setting up wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) for test runs and experiments.
• Operate processing equipment and advanced tools using defined recipes to collect data on thin‑film thickness, critical dimension (CD), wafer disposition performance, and chemistry properties.
• Process test runs, generate records, charts, and schematics, and present findings to engineering teams for yield optimization.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for process development teams and laboratory tools.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related experience in semiconductor or related manufacturing environments.
• Associate degree, technical certificate, or diploma in semiconductor technology, electronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment while wearing required PPE and clean‑room attire.
• Foundational written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work a shift schedule.
