Process Technician 1

About the role

As a Process Technician in Lam Research’s Global Products Group, you will play a critical role in supporting semiconductor process development and research. Working in a clean‑room environment, you will set up equipment, run experiments, collect data and help optimise wafer yield.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Process Engineers with preparation, setup and testing of wafer fabrication equipment (WFE).
• Operate processing equipment and advanced tools using defined recipes to capture thin‑film, CD and chemistry measurements.
• Run test lots, record results, create charts and schematics, and present findings to engineering teams.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for process development and lab tools.
• Prepare samples and submit data for further analysis.

Required profile

• Less than 1 year of related experience.
• Associate degree, technical certificate or diploma in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work safely in a clean‑room environment wearing PPE and cleanroom attire.
• Foundational communication skills in English (reading and writing).
• Willingness to work a shift schedule.
