Pastry Cook B – Skilled Pastry Chef

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pastry Cook B to join our culinary team. Working closely with the executive chef, you will create high‑quality pastries, desserts and confectionery for daily service, special events and bespoke requests.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with the executive chef and other kitchen staff to plan pastry production.
• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, cookies, sweets and pies according to company standards.
• Design attractive confectionery decorations and develop new pastry fillings and items.
• Monitor and maintain specialized pastry equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.
• Coordinate timely delivery of pastries, desserts and cakes for service.
• Control costs, track stock levels and manage inventory movements.
• Implement company policies, health‑and‑safety codes and HACCP food safety procedures.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts.
• Previous experience in a similar pastry cook or pastry chef role.
• Experience handling food safely and complying with hygiene regulations.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Food handling expertise.
• Knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and methods.
• Understanding of hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations.
• Proficiency in Greek or English language.
