Lighting Designer

About the role

DIMCO is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Lighting Designer to join its Architectural Lighting Department in Nicosia. You will work on a variety of residential, commercial and hospitality projects, developing innovative lighting concepts that enhance architecture and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional lighting concepts tailored to each project.
• Prepare lighting layouts, technical drawings, reflected ceiling plans and fixture schedules.
• Perform lighting calculations using Relux or DIALux.
• Coordinate designs with architects, interior designers, consultants and contractors.
• Participate in design meetings, conduct site visits and ensure successful project delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers for technical information and product specifications.
• Support the Commercial Team throughout design and implementation phases.
• Maintain AutoCAD drawings, lighting layouts, details and tender documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience as a Project Manager, Lighting Engineer/Designer, Interior Designer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Relux and DIALux (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of Revit or other 3D visualisation software (advantage).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
