Legal Counsel

About the role

We are a fast‑growing global trading platform seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s commercial interests across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review, interpret and negotiate a wide range of contracts (master agreements, SOWs, NDAs, etc.) to ensure clarity, enforceability and alignment with internal policies.
• Identify, analyse and mitigate legal and business risks, including liabilities, indemnities, warranties and breach scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as MiFID II, GDPR and local commercial laws.
• Manage contract administration, including verification of party details, renewal and termination clauses, and governing law/jurisdiction.
• Provide clear feedback to internal stakeholders and maintain comprehensive records of contract drafts, final versions and negotiation history.

Required profile

• Extensive legal experience with a proven track record across Europe, MENA, the Americas and APAC.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and drive results.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with experience mentoring junior colleagues being a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously.
