Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

AMF Global Group of Companies is looking for a Junior Internal Auditor to support the audit function for regulated financial entities in Cyprus. The role offers exposure to a variety of firms including investment, e‑money, alternative investment funds and crypto‑asset service providers, working alongside experienced consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate internal controls and operating performance of Cyprus Investment Firms, Electronic Money Institutions, Alternative Investment Funds, Crypto‑asset service providers and related entities.
• Inspect systems and premises of regulated firms and conduct interviews with key personnel.
• Monitor compliance with applicable legislation and assess existence of required policies.
• Prepare reports highlighting major findings, weaknesses and recommendations for senior management and boards, including risk assessments.
• Participate in special projects and assignments with other staff.
• Maintain communication with subordinates, business associates and authorities during audit execution.
• Attend client meetings with the manager and follow prepared agendas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, risk management, law or related discipline from a reputable UK university (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role or fresh graduate.
• CySEC certificate (Basic or Advanced) considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills.
