IT Technician & Client Support Specialist – Nicosia

About the role

As an IT Technician & Client Support Specialist based in Nicosia, you will support both internal users and external clients, handling hardware, software, and ticketing processes within a fast‑growing FinTech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain end‑user hardware and software, managing the equipment lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
• Identify, record, categorize, and prioritize incidents and service requests for internal users.
• Administer corporate applications and IT infrastructure, including local network, printers, and small devices.
• Manage access rights and perform Azure administration (SharePoint, Intune, Windows Defender).
• Provide L1 client support: receive tickets via email, phone or ticketing system, triage, diagnose, and resolve common issues or escalate to higher tiers.
• Maintain client‑facing knowledge‑base articles and monitor support queues for recurring trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate IT support and client‑facing support.
• Fluent English; additional language a plus.

Required skills

• Linux, macOS and Windows workstations.
• Azure administration (SharePoint, Intune, Windows Defender).
• Python scripting, including Ansible playbooks.
• IT security best practices in a banking/FinTech environment.
• Go programming language (optional).
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS knowledge (optional).
