IT Solutions Architect

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an IT Solutions Architect to partner with leading enterprises on their hybrid‑cloud and AI transformations. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, evaluate, and guide the implementation of complex technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document the architecture of complete systems or specific components within a solution.
• Lead technical decision‑making, ensuring alignment with business goals and addressing non‑functional requirements.
• Develop and apply analytical frameworks to solve complex problems and improve organizational processes.
• Mentor team members in analytical techniques and creative problem‑solving.
• Champion the adoption of technology solutions that eliminate bottlenecks and enhance delivery efficiency.
• Drive organizational change initiatives, proposing and leading projects that introduce new technologies or improve capabilities.
• Contribute to client strategies by leveraging deep industry, market, and technology knowledge.

• Demonstrated ability to influence team direction and strategic decisions.
• High degree of autonomy with a track record of initiating and leading major initiatives.
• Strong understanding of client business contexts, industry trends, and technology landscapes.
