International Tax Manager

About the role

KPMG’s Limassol office is seeking an experienced professional to lead its International Tax Department. Working closely with the engagement partner, you will guide a team of tax specialists, ensure compliance with Cyprus and international tax regulations, and deliver high‑quality advisory services to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff together with the partner to organise and execute tax projects.
• Prepare work in line with professional standards and applicable laws.
• Develop recommendations, implementation plans and make informed decisions on complex tax matters.
• Identify and present direct tax opportunities and risks to clients.
• Delegate, review and coach junior staff while collaborating with senior team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with direct taxation developments and share knowledge through presentations.
• Maintain direct communication with tax authorities and KPMG network firms.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with a university degree (minimum 2:1).
• At least 5 years of tax experience, preferably in Cyprus.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation, OECD guidelines and EU directives.
• Proven ability to draft professional reports and prepare all types of tax returns.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Greek; additional languages are a plus.
