In‑House Legal Advisor – Commercial & Regulatory

About the role

We are partnering with an established international pharmaceutical group to hire an in‑house Legal Advisor for its Head Office in Nicosia. The role offers broad exposure to commercial, corporate, employment, data protection and regulatory matters, supporting various departments while ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements such as service, distribution, rental, data processing, confidentiality and employment contracts.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documents including Powers of Attorney and Board Resolutions.
• Conducting legal research and analysing relevant Cyprus and EU legislation.
• Providing legal advice to internal departments on commercial, corporate, employment, competition, health and data protection law.
• Coordinating with external legal advisors and acting as the main point of contact.
• Supporting internal compliance procedures and company policies.
• Managing legal records, documentation and document‑retention requirements.
• Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring organisational updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and membership of the Cyprus Bar Association.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience, with strong corporate and commercial expertise.
• Proven drafting and contract‑review capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.
• Strong legal research, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail.
