Immigration Specialist

About the role

Volka is seeking a Mid‑Senior Immigration Specialist to lead the full employee immigration lifecycle and mobility for its international workforce. You will ensure a smooth, compliant, and positive experience for employees and their families from pre‑arrival through onboarding, relocation, and ongoing employment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate immigration and mobility processes for employees and dependents, including work permits, visas, residence permits, relocations, and naturalization.
• Prepare and submit immigration applications (EU Blue Card, hosting visas, e‑visas, non‑domicile) with supporting documentation.
• Advise employees and families on immigration, relocation, onboarding, and off‑boarding matters.
• Support relocations, assisting with bank‑account setup and acquisition of official documents.
• Liaise with government authorities, embassies, external legal/immigration providers, and internal stakeholders; attend authorities when required.
• Monitor visa and permit expirations, maintain accurate immigration records, and ensure compliance with Cyprus and global labour regulations.
• Track legislative changes, provide guidance on immigration risks, and develop internal immigration procedures.

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
• 3–5+ years hands‑on Cyprus immigration experience, preferably a mix of provider/law‑firm and corporate in‑house global mobility.
• Advanced proficiency with data‑tracking tools such as Excel, Notion, or HRIS trackers.
• Strong understanding of local labour law and ability to handle sensitive information securely.
• Proven track record of preparing and successfully submitting employment permit applications (e.g., BCR, foreign interest companies).
