Game Security Team Lead (Remote)

About the role

CoinPoker is seeking a hands‑on Team Lead to protect the fairness, security, and integrity of its online crypto‑poker platform. You will manage a team of investigators, oversee operational processes, and work closely with product, engineering, and legal teams to mitigate fraud, abuse, and emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deep‑dive investigations into multi‑accounting, account sharing, identity abuse, and coordinated abuse networks.
• Detect and mitigate bot activity, automated gameplay, game‑mechanic exploitation, match manipulation, and user collusion.
• Analyze and resolve payment fraud, promotional/bonus abuse, and suspicious transactional patterns.
• Utilize gameplay telemetry, device intelligence, behavioral analysis, and internal data tools to trace malicious activity.
• Identify emerging fraud trends and define data‑driven detection rules, monitoring strategies, and risk‑scoring models.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to build, test, and validate automated detection capabilities.
• Produce regular insights on fraud trends, operational KPIs, and risk exposure for senior stakeholders.
• Maintain high‑quality SOPs, review investigation workflows, and recommend tooling enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in fraud prevention, game integrity, trust & safety, risk operations, cybersecurity, financial crime, or investigations.
• Strong investigative mindset, high integrity, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a data‑driven, detail‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Experience with fraud investigation tools, emulators, virtual machines (VMs), and heads‑up displays (HUDs).
