Financial Services Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

The EY Parthenon team of EY Cyprus is looking to recruit a Financial Services Manager/Senior Manager to work with a high‑performing, integrated team focused on transactions and providing advice on challenging projects. The role offers a diverse range of experiences and a strong sense of achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Understand, analyse and present a client’s existing or proposed business, identify strengths and weaknesses and document key findings.
• Identify key business drivers in a transaction and provide value through insights, factual conclusions and advice.
• Document main findings that underpin the advice provided to clients.
• Gather, verify and assess information and formulate views.
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables such as written reports, presentations and client discussions.
• Assist with proposal preparations for prospective clients.
• Develop internal and external networks through personal contacts.
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the SaT team and other EY services.
• Take responsibility for personal learning and development.
• Provide coaching and support to other team members.

Required profile

• Qualified or progressing towards ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., MBA).
• Strong academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics.
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
