Financial Planning & Analysis Team Lead

About the role

Mayflower is seeking a seasoned Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team Lead to shape the company’s financial future. You will translate complex data into strategic narratives that guide executive decisions, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Build and maintain driver‑based financial models for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance drivers and challenge assumptions.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and cash flow to identify risks and opportunities.
• Leverage BI tools and AI‑driven forecasting to automate reporting and improve predictive accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs, create executive dashboards, and support ad‑hoc analyses on investments, pricing, and cost optimization.
• Ensure data consistency between FP&A models and ERP/source systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA a plus).
• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance or controlling experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow mechanics.
• High attention to detail and proactive ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (Power Query, complex formulas, modeling best practices).
• Financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Experience with ERP Business Central 365 (preferred).
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
