Financial Controller – Limassol

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the finance team of a large international IT company based in Limassol. The role involves overseeing the preparation and verification of financial data for audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify documentation for external group audits.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants and other external parties.
• Collect, verify and archive financial documents.
• Check VAT documentation across multiple entities.
• Prepare documents for Provisional Corporation Tax calculations.
• Work in QuickBooks to validate accounting data and financial statements.
• Ensure timely and high‑quality preparation of group financial reports.
• Participate in audit planning with the Team Lead and monitor execution.
• Support KYC, due diligence and bank account opening processes.
• Monitor compliance with tax obligations and internal financial controls.
• Provide analytical information and documents for management requests.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Auditing.
• Minimum B2 level English for working with financial documentation.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar financial controller role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local Cyprus accounting and tax requirements.
• Attention to detail, high responsibility and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• QuickBooks.
• 1C or similar accounting software.
• Caseware or comparable audit software.
