Elevator Maintenance Technician

About the role

KONE is expanding its operations in Cyprus and seeks a dedicated Elevator Maintenance Technician to join its Nicosia team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of elevators and related equipment at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and servicing activities on elevators according to service agreements, company policies, and KONE standards.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Document work performed and report any deviations from standard procedures.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education (electrical, electronics or mechanical focus).
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Good command of English.
• Previous experience or qualifications in the elevator industry are advantageous.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Electronics fundamentals.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and diagnostics.
