Dry Cargo Vessel Operator

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Vessel Operator to manage the day‑to‑day commercial operations of our dry cargo fleet from our Head Office in Limassol. The successful candidate will ensure efficient voyage execution and support the growth of our shipping activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commercial operation of a fleet of dry cargo vessels.
• Execute voyages at time‑charter level, handling charter parties, port operations and weather routing.
• Prepare and manage bills of lading, cargo documentation and basic marine insurance (P&I and H&M).
• Maintain accurate records in the Voyage Management System (VMS) and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise vessel performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies or an equivalent ICS diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience in dry bulk voyage execution (time charter level).
• On‑board experience considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of the dry cargo market, charter parties, port operations and weather routing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and ambitious attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Voyage Management System (VMS).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
