DevOps Team Lead

About the role

Mayflower is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to drive infrastructure excellence for high‑load, real‑time entertainment products used by millions worldwide. You will lead a group of DevOps engineers, shape automation strategy, and ensure reliable, scalable services for development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate DevOps Engineers across multiple teams and projects.
• Organise team operations, improve internal processes and delivery efficiency.
• Facilitate planning sessions, retrospectives, technical discussions and 1‑on‑1 meetings.
• Manage team priorities, workloads and technical direction.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployments, development environments and operational tooling.
• Promote infrastructure automation, standardisation and DevOps best practices.
• Provide reliable, high‑quality infrastructure support for development teams.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution and reliability improvements.
• Drive collaboration between software developers and infrastructure engineers.
• Assist with hiring, mentoring, accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering team.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and workloads across multiple projects.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring and decision‑making abilities.
