Corporate Accounting Officer

About the role

Alter Domus is seeking a Corporate Accounting Officer for its Nicosia office. The role involves managing a portfolio of corporate clients, preparing financial statements, tax filings and payroll, and supporting day‑to‑day company operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain company accounts and prepare periodic management reports for a mix of regulated and unregulated Cypriot entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate with auditors for year‑end audits.
• Prepare corporate tax and VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities and advisors.
• Process payroll for clients’ employees using appropriate payroll software.
• Handle day‑to‑day operational tasks and assist clients with holding, investing, financing, IP and real‑estate structures.

Required profile

• Working towards ACCA or ACA professional qualification.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• High IT literacy with strong Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle confidential information with integrity.
