Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Limassol Port

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to head all activities at the DP World port in Limassol, Cyprus. The CEO will oversee daily operations, drive the long‑term growth strategy, and ensure the port remains a key strategic asset for the country.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day port operations and lead a senior leadership team across key divisions.
• Develop and execute long‑term commercial and strategic plans, including major CAPEX decisions.
• Maintain strong relationships with joint‑venture partners, unions, government officials and other stakeholders.
• Ensure safety is central to all initiatives and that infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Ports and Terminals Europe and other regional CEOs to integrate the port into DP World’s end‑to‑end logistics transformation.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in a port, terminal, maritime organization or similarly asset‑heavy environment.
• Proven track record in operational management, safety leadership, engineering or asset oversight, and managing large, diverse teams.
• Full P&L responsibility with strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning experience.
• Experience building multicultural teams, delegating authority, and succession planning.
• Deep understanding of port‑related regulatory, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders in corporate and governmental settings.
