Business Developer – Sales & Ukrainian Speaker

About the role

Mayflower is looking for a Business Developer who can drive new merchant acquisition for its payment orchestration platform. The role combines full‑cycle B2B sales with deep engagement in the fintech and online payments ecosystem, targeting merchants that can benefit from advanced payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients across relevant online business verticals.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand merchants’ payment setups, volumes, markets and requirements.
• Present Mayflower’s payment orchestration solutions and articulate commercial value.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process: qualification, demos, negotiations and closing.
• Develop long‑term relationships with founders, payment managers and senior executives.
• Collaborate with partnerships, technical, onboarding and account‑management teams.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM and report activity.
• Attend fintech, payments and e‑commerce conferences to generate leads.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve individual sales and revenue targets.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in fintech, payments, acquiring or related sectors.
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian.
• Willingness to be based in Cyprus (or relocate).
• Proven track record of managing full sales cycles and closing complex deals.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑driven, organised and comfortable working independently.
