Assistant Audit Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established professional services firm in Nicosia, is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. The role combines technical audit delivery with client relationship management and offers a clear path to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and execute audit engagements, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and internal methodology.
• Review audit work, prepare financial statements under IFRS and oversee the preparation of client tax returns.
• Manage budgets, timelines and billing, reporting progress to Audit Directors or Partners.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior audit staff, providing technical guidance throughout the engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university and ACA or ACCA qualification.
• More than 5 years of audit experience in an accounting or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA and the Cyprus tax framework.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
