Architect – Lead Design & Architecture Department

About the role

Our client, a leading construction firm in Larnaca, is looking for a talented Architect to head the architectural function and design new residential and mixed‑use projects during a growth phase. The role involves establishing a Design & Architecture Department, managing external consultants, and building an internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of all new residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept designs, and planning submissions.
• Optimise layouts to maximise saleable areas.
• Manage external multidisciplinary consultants.
• Define and enforce company design standards.
• Lead value‑engineering initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to construction teams.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Construction, Sales, and Marketing departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect and ETEK member.
• 10–15 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior architectural leadership role.
• Proven experience designing residential and mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus planning, building regulations, and permitting procedures.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Excellent written and spoken Greek and English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM workflows.
