AI Engineer – Generative AI & Data Architecture

About the role

EY Consulting is looking for an AI Engineer to join its Transformation Realized™ practice. You will help clients design and roll out modern data architectures, build automated data pipelines, and embed generative AI solutions across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement state‑of‑the‑art AI solutions for enterprise clients.
• Develop and deploy AI models, focusing on large language models (LLMs) and generative AI techniques.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and define AI project goals.
• Stay current with advances in generative AI and evaluate their applicability to client challenges.
• Integrate pre‑trained models via Azure OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face Transformers, and related APIs.
• Build and optimise end‑to‑end pipelines for data processing, model training, and deployment.
• Work with vector databases (e.g., Redis) to support similarity search and retrieval tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing AI/ML solutions, especially with LLMs or generative AI.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging generative AI technologies.
