AI-Driven DevOps Engineer

About the role

Freedom Finance Technologies is seeking an AI‑Driven DevOps Engineer to join its Trading System Support Department. The role focuses on applying artificial intelligence to enhance software delivery, infrastructure automation, observability, incident response, and overall engineering productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI‑powered tools across DevOps and engineering workflows.
• Design, prototype, and implement AI‑enabled solutions for infrastructure automation, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Explore practical applications of large language models, AI agents, and AI‑assisted development tools in a DevOps environment.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines.
• Develop, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Maintain containerised platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support and evolve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve engineering workflows.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, cross‑functional teams, and external contractors.
• Maintain technical documentation for DevOps and AI‑enabled solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
• Strong, genuine interest in applying AI to DevOps practices.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑related projects (professional, personal, or open‑source).
• Curiosity and initiative to test emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks.
