Afternoon Primary Teacher (14:00-18:00)

About the role

The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking a competent and experienced Afternoon Facilitator to join the primary team starting March 2025. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:00.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing enrichment, health, and recreational extracurricular activities.
• Facilitate outdoor play and support children’s personal hygiene and wellbeing routines.
• Perform duties assigned by the Extracurricular Coordinator and maintain confidentiality about students.
• Monitor and ensure students follow established routines and procedures.
• Collaborate with class teachers and co‑teachers for seamless activity transitions.
• Help students locate the correct activity clubs.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and required training.
• Substitute for team members as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children (e.g., summer camps, afternoon schools).
• Intermediate English proficiency and an international mindset.
• Compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable about how children learn.
• Eligibility to work in Cyprus (EU yellow slip for EU citizens acceptable).
