Waldorf Teacher (Pre-Primary to Secondary)

About the role

The Island Private School of Limassol is looking for Waldorf teachers to join its growing Waldorf programme, covering pre-primary, primary and secondary education up to Grade 9. The school is one of the few places where Waldorf, Montessori and the IB run side by side on the same campus, each keeping its own approach.

Required profile

• Kindergarten and class teachers with Waldorf/Steiner training, or well on the way to it.
• People who understand that a good lesson starts with the head, the heart and the hands.
• Storytellers, painters, singers, gardeners, knitters and festival-makers.
• Colleagues who are warm, steady and comfortable working within a larger school with its own structures.
• Fluent English speakers, as English is the school's working language.

What we offer

• Small classes and a programme still being shaped, so your ideas will count.
• An international staff team and families who chose Waldorf on purpose.
• A life in Cyprus described as safe, sunny, EU, with a short flight from much of Europe.
• A team that helps new teachers settle in, from paperwork to getting settled.

Applicants should send their CV and a few lines about what Waldorf education means to them, whether they are ready to move now or thinking about next year. International applicants who do not already have the right to live and work in Cyprus are asked to read the separate guidance before applying. Appointment is subject to reference and police checks.
