Staff Security Architect

About the role

Payward is looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Architect to join Kraken Security Labs. You will be embedded within engineering teams, shaping security architecture for a diverse set of products ranging from blockchain platforms to AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and verify robust security architecture across heterogeneous environments.
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing systems, recommending practical improvements.
• Stay current with blockchain, web3 and AI security trends, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Provide expert guidance to blockchain and engineering teams to ensure secure operational practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT security expert with a strong background in application security.
• Hands‑on experience testing diverse applications and securing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, remote‑collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with global stakeholders.
