Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will own the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary projects for a telecommunications client serving the international law‑enforcement sector. Based in Nicosia, the role sits at the centre of a matrix organisation, aligning R&D, product, QA, operations and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects, from scoping and planning through execution, monitoring and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives and technical feasibility with internal departments and translate them into realistic, resource‑loaded work plans.
• Coordinate R&D (hardware and software), product management, QA, integration, operations and logistics, keeping all stakeholders aligned on requirements, schedule and budget.
• Drive hardware and software development through all phases, including testing and handover to production.
• Own delivery risk, identify and mitigate issues early, and escalate decisively when needed.
• Maintain clear communication plans, reporting progress, metrics and risks to management and customers.
• Produce project documentation such as SOWs, technical characterisations, user manuals and training materials.
• Secure customer acceptance of deliverables and conduct post‑project evaluations.
• Mentor project‑management practice across the organisation and support rollout of new processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects end‑to‑end, including hardware and/or software R&D deliveries.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale development projects on schedule and within budget.
• Experience working in a matrix environment and leading cross‑functional teams.
