Senior Product Security Engineer (Relocation to Cyprus)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to build and lead product security across our engineering organization in Limassol, Cyprus. Reporting to the Head of Information Security, you will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and drive AI‑first security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security gates and secure release practices within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Lead threat modelling for new products and major changes, providing secure‑by‑design input.
• Define secure‑by‑default architecture patterns for authentication, authorization, API design and service‑to‑service trust.
• Choose and operate application security tooling, including AI‑assisted solutions, and own software supply‑chain security controls.
• Implement container image scanning, dependency management, software bill of materials and security checks on infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Introduce AI agents and LLM‑assisted workflows as the default delivery mechanism for application security.
• Drive remediation of application‑layer findings with engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product or application security within payments, fintech or banking.
• Strong hands‑on experience embedding security into the software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable reading code and participating in design discussions with senior engineers.
• Proven experience with threat modelling, secure‑by‑design reviews and architecture stages.
• Hands‑on experience with SAST, SCA, secrets detection and DAST tools.
• Experience securing cloud‑native applications on AWS or other major clouds.
• Strong AI proficiency with agentic workflows, RAG or similar technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
